LAUSD Berendo Middle School Gymnasium Project
PMCS provided Construction Management services for the construction of the new gymnasium at LAUSD’s Berendo Middle School. The two-story gymnasium includes a large plaza to the south that serves as a pre-function space and is available for community use. Service spaces and lockers are located on the gym’s lower level with direct field access, and the upper level accommodates a large gymnasium and fitness classroom, as well as concessions and service support areas. The project also converted existing clerical space in the administration building into a much-needed community wellness clinic. Install of a new main electrical service.

LACCD Los Angeles City College Da Vinci Hall Modernization
The Los Angeles City College Da Vinci Hall Modernization project included upgrades to all mechanical, plumbing, and electrical fire protection systems (FA & AFSS), voluntary seismic upgrade, hazard material removal, and replacement of exterior glazing, and interior demising walls. Upgraded HVAC to connect CHW to the Central Plant. Project included AHU replacement, Heating Hot Water system replacement, and Chiller/Cooling Tower replacement, connection the HVAC systems to the campus central hydronic loop system, concrete rehabilitation and repair, new interior buildouts of classrooms, a new roof, finished floors, a refinished elevator cab, and doorways.

LAUSD Program, Various MEP Projects
PMCS Group is currently providing Senior Design Management support to oversee various mechanical projects, including HVAC system replacement projects, plumbing utility upgrades, chiller replacements, and roofing replacement projects. PMCS is overseeing both design and construction efforts on these projects. Project sites include: Edison Middle School, Taft Charter High School, Banning High School, Locke Charter School, Albion Elementary School, and many others.

Montebello Unified School District Energy Conservation Measure Modernization, Phase I
PMCS provided Project Management services for approximately 21 various projects to include solar shaded parking lots, new HVAC, LED classroom replacement lighting, high efficiency electrical transformers, EV charging stations, and 2 solar greenhouses across the Montebello Unified School District facilities.
PMCS worked with Montebello USD and OpTerra efficiently and effectively to get their projects up and moving. Our team managed all elements of project and construction management, including managing change orders, keeping all projects on schedule and on budget, and resolving issues in the field as they arise.

LAUSD North Hollywood High School Comprehensive Modernization
PMCS provided Construction Management on the North Hollywood High School Comprehensive Modernization Project, a $199 Million design-bid-build project. Project scope involves the seismic upgrade and modernization of approximately 100,000 SF of existing space and the construction of a new classroom building (104,956 SF) and core facilities, including a new auditorium (34,016 SF) and gymnasium (44,213 SF). The new classroom building will house 52 classrooms and features specialized instructional spaces for art and ceramics, robotics, video production, auto repair, wood working and construction.

California State University Long Beach - College of Continuing and Professional Education
Our team provided construction management services for the LEED Platinum certified, 38,000 GSF, 3-story classroom building for CSULB's College of Continuing Education (CCPE). This design-build project, completed as the first net-zero ready energy building on campus, was recognized as the 2019 ENR Regional Best Project in the Green Project category.
