The new Valley Academic & Cultural Center, formerly known as the Performing and Media Arts Center, is located at the northwestern part of the campus. This center is designed to nurture the spirit of creativity and discovery, inspiring artists, performers, and producers. The Center brings together the Media Arts Department and the Performing Arts Department into a single complex, fostering a more collaborative learning environment.

The Center features classrooms, study and rehearsal spaces, a newsroom, a radio station, faculty offices, and four separate theaters: a 450-seat Mainstage Theater, a 225-seat Screening Theater, a 150-seat Horseshoe Theater, and an 80-seat Lab Theater. Additionally, there is an Outdoor Amphitheater designed for outdoor performances and concerts, providing versatile spaces for a variety of artistic and cultural events.

PMCS has provided Project Manager and Project Engineer services for this project. Our responsibilities included overseeing the overall project schedule and budget, managing subcontractors, and ensuring all construction activities met the specified standards. We reviewed and processed Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, and shop drawings, providing on-site technical and administrative support. Additionally, we coordinated with the design team to ensure all project goals were met, including sustainability targets and LEED certification requirements. Our team played a crucial role in facilitating communication between stakeholders, managing change orders, and ensuring the timely delivery and installation of materials and equipment.
