The Construction Technology Building (CTB) is a new 4-story, 178,555 GSF, Type I-B building. This project consists of a Cast-in-Place structure with spread footings and includes a rooftop Photovoltaic System. It offers all-level forklift access, including the roof, and features 23 classrooms, 22 laboratories, a roof laboratory, offices for over 46 faculty members, a rooftop conference room, storage space, and an instructional construction yard. The building is designed to achieve LEED V. 3.0 Gold certification.
PMCS provided Project Manager and Project Engineer services for this project. Our responsibilities included overseeing the overall project schedule and budget, managing subcontractors, and ensuring all construction activities met the specified standards. We reviewed and processed Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, and shop drawings, providing on-site technical and administrative support. Additionally, we coordinated with the design team to ensure all project goals were met, including sustainability targets and LEED certification requirements. Our team played a crucial role in facilitating communication between stakeholders, managing change orders, and ensuring the timely delivery and installation of materials and equipment.
